Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Hello,

You are using a Kunena version and Joomla! version which is in end of life, so i advise you to upgrade to lastest versions.

There are some important observations that need to be made about this issue:

1) The problem has been discussed many times before in this forum. The problem is caused by having two menu items that conflict with one another. These issues are discussed in "This webpage has a redirect loop" and the solution can be found in that topic. If you do not want to read the whole topic, it is summarised simply in the Wiki article Kunena Menu issues

2) Joomla never supported "legacy mode". Kunena is not tested on J! 1.5.x systems running with the Joomla - Legacy plugin enabled. You need to disable this plugin. Unless and until you remove legacy mode from your J! 1.5 site, this problem will never be resolved.

You should read Legacy mode in the Wiki to find out how to disable "legacy mode".

3) sh404SEF 1.0.19 beta is several years out of date (and unsupported by anythng-digital.com ) As far as we know, sh404SEF has not been compatible with Kunena for a very long time. See
