Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

This is not a support forum for sh404SEF or its related products. For sh404SEF support you should visit sh404SEF .

The information given in this category is intended to guide users who want to use sh404SEF with Kunena and, mostly, was written by Kunena users. The information here is not necessarily accurate, up-to-date nor is it intended to replace the support given by the developers of sh404SEF.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Question Kunena and Joomla categories get the same SEF URL

Hi,

I'm using the latest versions of Joomla, sh404SEF and Kunena and found something strange. (sh404SEF configured to use Joomla router for Kunena so it has no affect on the forum).

I have a category named (for example) xyz in the Joomla content and the same in the Kunena forum.

The issue is that both get the same SEF URL, like the following example:
mysite.com/xyz will redirect to the Kunena category
mysite.com/xyz/ will redirect to the Joomla category.

The only difference is the trailing slash.

Those are real examples but with Hebrew categories:
www.tissan.co.il/%D7%98%D7%99%D7%A1%D7%A0%D7%99%D7%9D
www.tissan.co.il/%D7%98%D7%99%D7%A1%D7%A0%D7%99%D7%9D/

I'm looking for a way to have the Kunena URLS shows like this:
mysite.com/forum/xyz

Can't find it in the Kunena or Joomla configuration.

Thanks,
Yoni

Did you resolve this problem ... or are you still struggling to find a solution that takes sh404SEF into account on your site?
