Kunena 6.2.6 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

This category is for the module developed, endorsed, maintained and supported by the Kunena project team. The topics in this category only relate to the plugin developed for K 3.0 and later versions.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

I have a site where only registered users can see the forum at all.
I want to use the Latest Posts and the Stats modules on the homepage to show people the action going on in the forum so when they click a topic they are asked to register, this doesnt happen the link when they click a topic if not logged in is:

mydomain.org/component/kunena/approval-o...bers/link-to-article and this goes to an error page "this page isnt redirecting properly" so not even a 404

but a registered user clicks the same link and they get

mydomain.org/forum/approval-of-new-members/link-to-article

How can i get the link to just go to a login page instead please?

Guests should not see this link, when the category is only for registered users unless you have only the setting "Registered Users Only" in the configuration and not changed the default category permissions. But in that case guests get the info: "Please Log In
Only community members can participate in this forum. You must register or log in to contribute."
Therefore I think, you have changed or moved Kunena menu items, when this works not correct. See here: docs.kunena.org/en/troubleshooting/menu-issues
