Solved Blank page for dashboard
If I install by URL I get the following errors
And then when I install by upload package file (uploading: com_kunena_v3.0.7.zip)Warning
Error connecting to the server: SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate
Error
Invalid URL
Unable to find install package
I get a success message
but blank pages for any of the Kunena Forum link under ComponentsMessage
Installing component was successful.
I'm trying these installations on a new install of Joomla that has a fresh install of Jomsocial on it.
Any help would be appreciated
I'm a total newbie here so please forgive me if I've messed up on forum protocol

Can-you set into your Joomla! configuration panel the error reporting on maximum and check after that if you have still blank page when you try to access Kunena component. Instead the blank page you should see an error message.

Did what you said and get the following error when going to dashboard
Fatal error: Class 'KunenaForum' not found in /var/www/vhosts/26/324532/webspace/httpdocs/example.com/administrator/components/com_kunena/install/model.php on line 1349
And thanks for the welcome

If I do a search for Kunena under Plugin manager I get:
There are no plugins installed matching your query.
Was I supposed to install plugins at the same time as com_kunena_v3.0.7.zip ?

I did that and found that configuration.php was not writable.810 wrote: go to system - system information and check if all dir are writable, I think the plugins dir isn't writable, so the plugins aren't installed.
I logged on via ftp and changed the file to 755
I tried to uninstall Kunena and reinstall it.
Same result, Blank page for dashboard and any other Kunena links
There must be something simple I'm missing on the installation process
For my install I go to Extensions > Extension Manager > Upload Package File
Then I browse to find com_kunena_v3.0.7.zip
I press Uplaod &Install and I get to a page that says
Then I just get blank pages for Kunena pagesMessage
Installing component was successful.
Am I missing a step?
