I upgrade from Kunena 1.0.9 to Kunena 1.5.3 and Administration is all OK but in front show this error message

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class CKunenaConfig in MYSITE/components/com_kunena/lib/kunena.config.class.php on line 4

What is this?

Thanks for your help

Do you have any 3rd party modules or extensions for Kunena installed? Like a latest posts module.

If so please try to disable to see if that could be causing the issue.

It seems something else is declaring that class before Kunena itself does.

It looks like you have another component or module that declares Kunena classes. No other way but to disable all of them to see which one is causing the problem.

I have seen this issue before, but I don't remember which module/plugin causes this. Do you have linux server and ssh access into it?

If so, log in and give me output of this command (in Joomla root):

grep "kunena.config.class.php" -R *

Any particular reason why you are running a 3rd party Joomla SEF extension?

The Joomla 1.5 internal SEF router is amongst the fastest and is fully integrated into Joomla. Here on kunena.com we only turned on Joomla SEF and the URLs are nice and pretty given Kunena 1.5 has implemented a custom SEF URL router.

Might want to consider that. One less thing to worry about.

Hope this helps!
