It works perfectly, I've tested it now.
Login with one of your test user and open a topic from the category 10U or 12U
the test user can only read now
now add this user to the Membership group and refresh the page in the fronend
you will see, the user get now the action buttons (reply, edit and so on..) and he can now also write

Hello,

I am trying to add this changes to the new site.

As we have discussed, the changes are working on the site listed above. However, when I make the changes on live site it is not working.

This sites works as expected. Site# 109.199.125.12/~michigan/index.php

This site is not working as expected. Site #2 (A copy of the live site) 109.199.125.12/~mifp122/index.php

I believe I have everything set the same in both sites, however since its not working correctly, I'm guessing I messed an important element.

What am I missing? :woohoo:

Ok,

I may have figured it out. Will I have to go into each subscriber (Membership Pro) and assign a user group to each new subscriber?

Is there a way this can be done automatically? Or is something I have to ask on the Membership Pro Side?
Thank you,

Is there a way this can be done automatically?

Yes, it's possible. We use for Blue Eagle subscriber the plugin from here. The users get automatically access to the right category.

Thank you for the info.

Can this piece be used for a paid subscription in Kunena as well?

Did you receive my other post in regards to the same paid subscription question?

That component do a paid subscription.
example:
So if you bought the template, then the component add your account to the wanted usergroup.
With that usergroup you will have access to the file for download, or in kunena you will see the extra category blue eagle. For support.

So if I bought the template, I could use the paid subscription feature? If that is the case, I already have a site I am using with a Kunena forum.

I am looking to integrate a "paid subscription" piece into the Kunena forum, vs using a whole new template. Does that make sense.

Please advise if I could do this with this piece - rd-media.org/extensions/product/rd-subscriptions-pro.html

My basic function would be simple.
A free user can browse the kunena forum site (only). If they want to log in to the site to post in the forum, reply in the forum, the log in button would then take you to a page where they would have to choose a paid membership to have and use the full access to the forum.
If this makes sense, then I need to know if your plug in will handle this?
Thank you,
