Hi,
by diagnostics in Kunena periodically arise messageBodyMissingMessage, messageOrphaned, attachmentOrphaned, userTopicOrphaned and other "broken" elements of forum.

Questions.
1. How and why do such "broken" elements appear?
In other words, how to avoid them.

2. Is it possible to look at these items before deleting in Kunena? (among them may be important). For example, create a file with information about them. Or should we look for them in the database?

3. To question 2. Kunena offers to remove "broken" elements.
Maybe the developers will offer an alternative? For example, in a specially created topic "Diagnostics" create a post for each broken element, for example, the text of a message without a topic, a post without a parent etc. Then an admin can decide, what to do with such elements.

Regards

This option shows orphaned database entries. I give you 2 examples:

1. Go in the backend and check the number of orphaned attachments
2. Click in the frontend on reply and upload an attachment
3. Click the Cancel button
The numbers of orphaned attachments are the same as before, the abort with the Cancel button is correct and the attachment entrie in the database is removed.

Now an uncorrect abort
1. Click in the frontend on reply and upload an attachment
2. Use instead the Cancel button the browser back option or click on any menu item
3. Go in the backend and check the number of orphaned attachments
Now you have additional an orphaned attachment, because Kunena not know, that you've aborted and the entrie in the database remain. But it lacks the associated message and therfore the entrie is orphaned.

I see on your image 12 orphaned attachments. So you will find in the database table *__kunena_attachments 12 entries with mesid = 0

We have noticed that's hard for admins to check it without further informations. Therefore is planned, to improve this in the future, so you get more informations before you delete.
