Kunena 6.2.6 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.3.x/4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

How can I configure Kunena that posts in a particular category, for example, a category to post technical problems, can only be seen by the user who posted them and administrators?

If you create new topics, use the correct category please. This topic has nothing to do with installation problems.

Unfortunately, it is not possible, unless you would create a separate Joomla group for each of these users.

Hi everyone,

I see that this question is frequently asked.
But since there was no solution, I personally thought to develop a plugin just for that.

We can now have the community created via forum, with the privacy of a ticketing system via private message to admin, moderators or the user you want (for example, if you have external coworker that help you for support).

The plugin allow to choose one ore more categories that have to be "private", where private means that can view those categories:
-- Thread Owner (who open the topic)
-- User you select via the plugin (not necessarily admin/moderator, but the user you want)

Threads in that categories are hidden also from search results for users outside the owner of those thread.

If interested,
our plugin was developed by " digigreg ". You can reach them at digigreg . com => www.digigreg.com

Hope this was useful.
