Hello,

with the previous version of Kunena I was able to add a custom bbcode by adding a "case" statement to the file joomla/components/com_kunena/lib/kunena.parser.php

kunena.parser.php is no more part of kunena, where should I add the code for my own bbcode?

Thanks.

docs.kunena.org/index.php/OnKunenaBbcodeEditorInit

Any more details how/where to use those functions?

Also, I have a joomla extension that basically adds a new bbcode tag for joomla articles.
Ideally, why does kunena not use the new bbcode defined for joomla articles?
Failing the above, would it be possible in the same joomla extension to detect whether kunena is installed and in case define the same bbcode for kunena?

Kunena doesn't use Joomla editor or html, so it cannot have the same function working.

This issue interests me. It's currently preventing me from moving from phpbb3 (where it is extremely easy to add new bbcode) to Kunena.

Here's an example of what I'd like to do.

I currently have a bbcode button for Soundcloud on phpbb3.

The usage is . The HTML replacement allows for the Soundcloud player to be embedded, and use the {URL} to specify which tune to embed.

Is there any easy way to replicate this on Kunena? If there is, I'd migrate in a second.

I'm trying to create an individual BBCode with Kunena 2.0.1, but i´ve failed.

Do you have a working example? The given hints were not clear enough (to me). ^^
