Kunena 6.2.6 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

This category is for K 1.7 issues only.

Important New installation of K 1.7.0: only option is "Install Kunena 1.6"!

I am trying to do a clean install of K1.7 (no previous version installed) in a J1.7.0 environment and the first screen I see only seems to provide an Install Kunena 1.6 option. There is text on the screen that says Install Kunena 1.7, but it is not an active link. The only active link is the Install Kunena 1.6 button.

Screenshot is attached. Am I missing something?

Hello,

This is just a little issue on language files, but if you click on Install Kunena 1.6 you will have Kunena 1.7.0 , yes it's weird

Is it possible to do a new install of K 1.7 of a new install of Joomla 1.7?

I attempted to do this and the installer shows Kunena 1.7.0 Installer. It shows the following two choices:

Install Kunena 1.7.0
Install Kunena 1.6

The problem is that only 'Install Kunena 1.6' is selectable. It is not possible to select 'Install Kunena 1.7.0.'

What is the procedure to install Kunena 1.7.0?

I just tried to install Kunena 1.7 native on our new Joomla! 1.7 web site. Immediately after hitting Upload and Install I am taken to a page where the ONLY option is to install Kunena 1.6? We do not want 1.6! Which is why we downloaded and attempted to install 1.7. Why is this installation not performing a straight forward 1.7 install?

This is only displayed incorrectly. It will install Kunena 1.7.
In the next release this display bug is fixed.

Hi,

I´m new with Joomla and after a fresh install in our server I download the K1.7 and when I tried to install in Joomla shows the msg as the print-screen below.

- Is this normal?
- It´s traying to say that I should install first the K1.6 and then upgrade to k1.7?

tks,

Renato P

Tks for quick reply. I tried to search in the forum by the text ("The Kunena forum has been taken offline") and found only information about upgrading issues. So, I decided to create this new post. Tks!
